w3u Fields Glossary

This Glossary shows all the fields that can be used in a w3u list. The model template has been used as an example.

“List” Fields

“name”: “Text String”. Name that identifies the list.

“author”: “Text String”. This field indicates who is the author of the list.

“url”: “List URL”. Address where the w3u list is hosted so the changes can be synchronized. Click here to see where you can host your lists.

“contact”: “Email Address”. Email address where the users can contact the author of the list.

“telegram”: “user”
. Telegram contact user name so that when you click open a chat conversation directly. The username without @.

“info”: “Text String”. Field where additional info of the list can be added.

“image”: “Image URL”
. Link to a image to identify the List.

“groups”: Field that allows us to add different categories.
“stations”: Field that allows us to add different audio or video links.

“Groups” Fields

“name”: “Text String”. Group or category tittle.

"name": "Movies"

 

“image”: “Image URL”. Link to a image to identify the group.

“stations”: Field to add different audio or video links.

“Stations” Fields

“name”: “Text String”. Name or tittle of the content the link refers to.

"name": "Tears of Steel"

 

“image”: “Image URL”. Link to a image to identify the content.

If we want the image to occupy all the available space we will add the following field.

"imageScale": "centerCrop",

 

“url”: “Content URL”. Link to where the audio or video we want to play is hosted.

“isHost”: true or false. It allows us to activate or deactivate the link solver of the video player.

"isHost": true

 

“referer”: “Container URL”. Here we indicate the URL where the video can be played from. It is not always necessary.

“subtitle”: “Subtitle URL”. Link to a .srt or pastebin to allow the load of subtitles.

"subtitle": "http://pastebin.com/JDfuRkZe"

 

“parental”: true or false. Here we indicate the player if the link includes content protected by parental control, it is not automatically activated.

"parental": true

 

“audio”: true or false. This indicates if it is a video or audio link. It is automatically video.

"audio": true

 

“online”: true or false. This indicates if the link is working or not. It automatically shows no option.

"online": true


“embed”: true o false.
If we want to indicate to the application that this is a link that is loaded in an html browser or directly in the player.

"embed": true


“import”: true o false.
If we want the player to import a list from the URL instead of playing a video.

"import": true

 

“userAgent”: Text string If we want to specify a User-Agent. It is an extra field valid only for creators who know what it means.

"userAgent": "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/41.0.2228.0 Safari/537.36"

 

“desktop”: true or false. To tell the app to use a random PC User-Agent. It also serves in embed links to show desktop mode. It is an extra field valid only for creators who know what it means.

“headers”: Text string. To specify HTTP headers to use. It is an extra field valid only for creators who know what it means.

“VR” Fields

To indicate to the player that our videos are to be shown in VR format, we add the following field followed by the visualization type.

"vr": "stereo_180_tb",

Below are the options that we can indicate for a correct reproduction of our VR video.

mono_360: 360º spherical video
stereo_180_lr: Stereoscopic video of 180º (two images with horizontal arrangement, left-right).
stereo_180_tb: Stereoscopic video of 180º (two images with vertical disposition, up-down).
stereo_360_lr: 360º stereoscopic video (two images with horizontal arrangement, left-right).
stereo_360_tb: 360º stereoscopic video (two images with vertical layout, top-bottom)
fisheye_lr: Video composed of two images with “fish eye” projection (with horizontal arrangement, left-right).
fisheye_tb: Video composed of two images with “fish eye” projection (with vertical arrangement, up-down).
